I painted this abstract portrait of the daughter of one of our close friends. In her portrait I wanted to capture her innocence, as well as the trust I could tell she had with her parents. Despite being only 2 years old, she felt safe enough to venture into the sand without the company of her mom or dad, who knew would be there when she returned.
