Mary Magdalene is a prominent figure in the life of Jesus Christ. It is clear that she had an intimate relationship with Jesus, one that has become sexualized over time. Even though many historians have refuted the idea that she was a repentant prostitute, she continues to represent a woman who we should look down on because of her sexuality. One thing is for certain- Mary Magdalene was human. Why should we judge anyone for being human? If we truly believe in the words of Jesus, then aren't we all part of the same body? And if so, aren't we in the end judging ourselves, our own bodies?
